Did you do this in grayscale and then just put one value of color?

I work in greyscale then use overlay and multiply to get the colors as well as some added value.

Is it easier working in greyscale rather than color?

it depends on what you are trying to get in the end. I feel that working from grayscale i am able to get things to look more realistic. But it is all up to the artist different tools for different people.

thank you!
I dont normally work in gray scale and then to color. Its something im practicing getting right But yes, this time im going from gray scale to color using a color layer as well as some other effects in soft light and overlay to get the colors and proper lighting

It's soo..Pretty.Did you like, use a tablet to create one of those game-art effects? It's a question I've been long gone asking.
