Description
Today, on the fourth Saturday of November, Ukraine and Ukrainians in other parts of the worlds commemorate the National Day of Remembrance of Victims of Holodomor, also known as the Great Famine of 1932-33, and remembers the victims of the 1921-23 and 1946-47 famines. We light our candles on our windowsills to commemorate and honor the victims who died during the famine.
You don't need to be Ukrainian to feel pain and injustice of millions murdered by organized mass starvation; you just to be human.
90 years ago, r*ssia committed a mass genocide against the Ukrainian people. stalin’s artificial famine - the Holodomor - targeted Ukrainian civilians, millions of whom perished from starvation between 1932-1933.
This year, commemoration of the victims of the Soviet genocide takes place during r*ssia's full-scale war against Ukraine. Again, r*ssians are using genocidal practices against Ukrainians. But Ukraine is strong and unbreakable. If Ukraine survived back then, Ukraine will prevail today. No victims will ever be forgotten.
Never forget. Never forgive.
