Your description, is this from something like as story or a fable? I've noticed this in some of your other work to, and at the end you say, "It's a happy ending". I was wondering this, because if some of your drawings are of inspiration towards these tales, could I somehow read them?
If this is simply just the description of your artwork, all I can say is that it is so poetically beautiful and astonishing that it really makes the viewer think. This piece of artwork is so stunning, the angle of the tree, the pondering eyes of the girl, the faded green tones in the background. This is beautiful...

the picture reminds me of a story my class was told in Welsh once, about a wedding day, where it was the custom for the bride to hide and the brides maids to go find her, she hid in a tree only she got stuck and died in the tree, her groom went looking for her everyday and never found her
sad tale but the picture reminds me of it a lot,

Very interesting piece! It looks very much like some of the old, traditional illustrations for fairy tales and such yet very modern and definitely Trixis-like. Those blades remind me of samurai.
Colours could be deeper though.

I really like the symbolic depicting of the thieves.. When I first looked at the pic I didn't knew those were swords, but they gave me this troubled feeling.. And then I've read the description and thought "wow, nice..". It gives you a proper feeling even without an explanation.
