Very interesting piece! It looks very much like some of the old, traditional illustrations for fairy tales and such yet very modern and definitely Trixis-like. Those blades remind me of samurai.
Colours could be deeper though.

I really like the symbolic depicting of the thieves.. When I first looked at the pic I didn't knew those were swords, but they gave me this troubled feeling.. And then I've read the description and thought "wow, nice..". It gives you a proper feeling even without an explanation.
