What a beautiful piece. I personally felt a very strong emotional connection when viewing it, and that is all an artist can ever hope for from his audience. I love how you captured the leaves as they fluttered from the branches. The colors are dreamy and fantastical, and the lighting adds a touch of mystery and nostalgia. The photo is slightly blurry, but I feel as though this was an intended effect. It adds a perfect final touch, and I also feel that the title was well-chosen and invokes a greater appreciation for the photograph. All I can say is, "Well done."
A gorgeous photo, and I hope to see more similar to it in the very near future.

Wow, I saw this on the front page and had to click it. xD The colors are very striking; they really make the piece stand out. The blueness of the background contrasted with the redness of the leaves and darkness of the shadows kind of give me an otherworldly feel. I almost can take this for an underwater scene with the backdrop pallet so aquatic and shadows reminding me of sunlight reflecting down from the surface of the water, you know?
However, I feel like the color feels oddly splotchy and out of place at parts. For example, at the bottom where the red leaves are, they seem oddly pixelly. Perhaps the sharpness was raised a bit too high? You may want to look at that. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/sā¦ " width="15" height="15" alt="
Also, your title is "lonely lonely day." I can see how a single tree can try to convey that, but it delivers a serene, peaceful feeling of vibrance to me more than anything. Abandonment isn't one of the first things I think of when I see this picture. But if you were looking for that irony, you can dismiss that.
All in all, I think this is a great piece. This one's going into my favorites. xD Keep it up!

This is quite the masterpiece I am seeing for a "Lonely Lonely Day". I actually want to sit and lean against the tree and meditate, hearing the sound of wind and the crinkling leaves.
