We talk and talk and talk.
Each word she utters hurts a little more, sending my that much closer to the edge.
To the brink. Maybe not, but it seems that way. Her words make sense but they cant help but hurt.
They are the truth and the truth hurts.
Like little knives.
Like that feeling you get when its raining on the highway while your driving and you stick you hand out the window.
And first it doesn't hurt but over time the pain gets incredibly strong.
Then it dulls and becomes numb. It may hurt again later but at that moment, you feel nothing.
Thats how I feel now, And the only thing I can do is write.
She says "If are futures cross then so be it!"
I think "I hope they do."
She asked if she can call because I tell her I'm upset.
I tell her "no just talk to me on IM."
She gives in.
She says she understands how I feel during the first part of the conversation.
I don't doubt that.
I say I miss her.
She says "I miss you to!"
Not in the same way.
She just wants to see me and hang.
I yearn for her
No not just for her touch, I could care less about a physical relationship with her.
Well I would still want to cuddle.
But to see her.
Hold Her.
Hear her laugh.
See her smile.
I just want to be near her.
One night, sitting on the edge of my bed, she looks as vulnerable as can be, as vulnerable as I've ever seen her.
In a weak voice she says "i love you" hoping that I say it back.
And I do, but not in the way she thinks I mean.
I don't love her, I'm in love with her.
We hug, I don't want to let go.
Our hands brush I get goosebumps.
