Description
this was originally just a drawing of a chick with pigtails... but i decided to use it as one of the characters from the comic book im trying to write.To cut a long story short, the world is destroyed, which the Norse call Ragnarok. however certain gods, and two humans, Lif and Lifthraiser survive, and bring life back to Midgard.
Hence, the mother Humanity

Saw one of your forum threads so I thought I'd stop by and leave a comment
Proportionally, the only thing I can see is that the hairline might be a little too high, but then again a) it is anime-styled and anime doesn't necessarily follow proportions b) it's eleven o'clock at night and staring at a bright computer screen is making me groggy, and c) I'm guilty of the same thing xD
I should shut up now before I say something that might be insulting ._. But overall, very nicely done!!

It's nice to see people using an anime-ish style for original characters for once. You're coloring is coming a long too I see... Perhaps now try being a bit more bold with the contrasts and shadows? It will make the people look more dynamic and dramatic... that's the power of lighting. Only nit picky detail I feel like pointing out is the hair being pulled from her neck... the arch of hair/skin is going in the wrong direction I think. The head is round as we all know... well mostly round anyway... so generally the hairline is curved out as opposed to in. If you wanted to be sure you could check some photographs of people with their hair pulled up. Keep up the great work.

Nice design, a few notes for future use of PC color to improve your picture:
When using adobe:
You can select a white area, then use right mouse> Similar to select all white areas (after turning up contrast to a reasonable level) then simply right mouse> select inverse and it'll select the black lines, now make two new layers. Layers 1 and 2, and select layer 2.
Use the paint bucket tool and fill in your selected area in black (Layer 2, lock or devisible background layer (original picture)), then deselect and fill in layer 1 with white, you'll have nice clean line art to work with and any coloring can be done on subsequent new layers over layer 1 which means no white pixelated edges next to the color/black lines of your art.

ahhhh ok! thanks! i just got bored of mysterious floating heads... its a common thing in my gallery so i decided it was time to get my act into gear and start making this whole comic book thing real! instead of just a series of kinda scary.. mysterious .... floating heads.
