Description
Minigriffins were notoriously difficult creatures. This one measured only 12 centimeters from the beak to the tip of the tail, but it caused far more trouble than any medium-sized griffin would ever do.
You couldn't really have them outside. For once, they could end up as prey for cats, foxes, birds of prey and other predators. For the second - they didn't really understand their predatory songbird nature. They would try to chase off all creatures who looked remotely similar to them - which meant that most smaller birds were in danger. And they tried to hunt. Their feline nature made them attack mice, which often were as large as themselves. One could often lose a minigriffin, only to find it on chirping in front of the door some hours later, completely exhausted and sitting on top of an unfortunate, dead rodent.
The obvious solution was to keep them indoors. However, while small birds often were in constant, or almost constant, motion... Felines were not. This resulted in the odd behavior of sitting still for hours, before suddenly, without warning, making a mad dash around the house, to the horror of all other inhabitants. They flew fast. And they crashed from time to time.
So they were difficult pets to have - but, of course, their cuteness more than made up for it. That, and the fact that they rules the internet, and guaranteed you many followers if you managed to get good photos of them.

...I'll show myself out. I think I have to work a bit more at my mini-griffin concept... But heck, was this fun to draw and write.
So, you asked for it. And here you have - the first blue tit X leopard mini griffin I have ever seen. Sorry about the lion tail, I drew that before I decided to go for leopard... But it does look awesome.
I think I'll draw more of these in the future... They are just so much fun.
I may or may not have been inspired by AlviaAlcedo 's drawings while making this. Check her out, if you like colorful dragons.

Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
I really love this artwork! As I tend to think of griffins as fierce, powerful creatures, this is quite a spin on the typical griffin we know and love. The text also adds to the artwork to create an even more admirable piece.
Okay, first things first: vision. The point of view that I feel is that you are another animal in the same tree or even just a person looking out of a window and viewing the minigriffin. I think that if you were to draw more artworks involving the minigriffin, I would have it looking at the viewer, all bushed up and furious, to make a really fun point of view. Still, you did pretty good!
Next is originality. You did awesome in this category! As I said earlier, I love this twist on the typical griffin! Many people, including myself, may think of a griffin as a powerful, majestic predator the size of a car. And while the minigriffin may still be thought of as majestic, itβs still not what I normally think of when I think of a griffin! And while Iβm on the subject of what I think about, you also did really well in the impact category! This artwork really makes me think about how different this griffin is compared to a typical griffin.
Lastly is technique. You skillfully created this artwork, so thereβs nothing more
to say about that! Great job, and I love the minigriffin.

Need to slow down really after this one, but here ya go:
Sky-Ther
Sky coming from the blue tit's latin name, and Ther from Panther as in the leopard's latin.
And now it's my turn to show myself out hehe

"Ther" comes from "panthera" which is the Latin name for all big cats (originally it only meant panther/leopard, but now it's used on lions, tigers, snow leopards and jaguars too). Using something from "pardus" instead would be better, I think.
I present "Minimagryphem skypard", the "tiny blue tit leopard griffin".
No need to show yourself out
