Description

A "piebald" or "pied" animal is simply an animal with white (unpigmented) spots on a pigmented/colored background. It appears in almost all animal species, and is especially common in domestic animals like horses, cows, dogs, cats, etc. However, it also rarely appears in wild animals, with piebald whitetail deer as possibly the most common - or at least probably the most well-known. Piebaldism is unrelated to vitiligo or albinism.

The moose (Alces alces) probably needs no introduction - it is the largest of the deer species, can reach 2,1 meters at the shoulders, and have an antler span of more than two meters. Piebaldism is very, very rare.

Stressed about finishing this one, as I have been so busy with the snow leopard But here he is! It was a really fun project, and a good exercise for changing colors and still make it look realistic - and I'm surprisingly happy with the end result.
