The 2nd DCI champion, earning titles in '73, 74, 78, 81, 89, and 99, Santa Clara Vanguard has a prestigious history and was part of a contrasting duo that solidified the Bay Area as THE competitive marching epicenter for decades to come.In this retro-contemporary "throwback" set, the corps' classic diagonal stripe, trademark green felt Aussie, and signature badge are present, but are joined with a relaxed collar design and a unique waist conch - mimicking the corps' cummerbund/sash vintage look while pushing the envelope of what it means to be "Vanguard".
