This is a unique image... it falls easily into fashion but also makes a beautiful crossover into portraiture. The Hair and Make-up is understated and while it is not natural it gives a feeling of natural beauty. That modern approach of a flash of color to enhance and attract the viewers eye to key features.
The pose is unique, interesting, and dynamic... really drawing the viewers eye into and across the image.
Your choice of single point lighting creates a dynamic use of drama while the soft box softens the intensity of the light quality creating an inviting image. It doesn't create a sultry feeling which I feel is a great strength to this image. It's inviting with out being slutty. It does reach for sexy but in a very classy way.
Overall... this is a very successful image.
