Description I have no idea what made me think of this. I've always loved the reaction of driving and biking through puddles... I wanted to portray that to the extreme.
I was supposed to represent a bicycle for my RISD application - did I go too far?
I'm absolutely loving working with atmospheric stuff and trying to get a sense of motion.

This is brilliant! I love the concept, and the waves look glorious. I hope my bike will be nearly as good!

Not this year, but hopefully next. I'm hopefully doing their precollege program this year, so we'll see how much I love it.

I love the colours. They really help to capture the feeling of a rainy day that just can't go bad.

This is wonderful! I love riding through puddles. I always tell my mum to drive through them in the car. Beautiful job!

This gives me shivers. The water looks so...watery, its as though you can almost feel it. And the little froggy is adorable!

oooh, cool. I love the sense of movement--to hard to achieve!--and the carefree sense of the person on the bike that can be seen through the feet alone. Love your work! ^^ +fav

This is absolutely beautiful, the detail is superb and the mood (which you seem to be very good at portraying) is lovely. I'd only say you went too far 'cause you put my bicycle drawing to shame . Nahh, not too far, perfect.

not too far. very cool. I love the illustrative quality of it. Was this in graphite? What was your reference?

Thank you! I used references for the bike and the frog.. but I may have relied too much on imagination for some things. so that may be why the lighting doesn't seem unified. and it is graphite... not allowed to use anything else

Did you go too far? No way! This is great - I love the little additions like the frog and the water lily.. and is that the moon over there? Love it. You created wonderful, kind of nostalgig, almost melancholy feeling with this one. Beautiful.

thanks! your work has made me think more about "feeling" and how important it is. and yeah it is the moon.. strangely rotated
