I did this tonight in drawing class. As you can see, our model was very thin... I found the delicate placement of his hand over such a fragile rib cage very beautiful.Related content

Beautifuly done; The contours of the ribs sloping softly into the shadows gives it a soft, eerie and kinda vunerable feel.

"thin" is the understatement of the century! "dead" is more likely. I rather thought it was a corps

WOW, this is very powerful.. the drawing is wonderful but the thinness of the model makes me kinda sad.. like I wonder if like is harder for people like him, or is he healthy? Happy? Very thought provoking drawing.

eek, oh yeah, I think I recognize this model. I always wondered why we didn't just draw from the skeleton when he would pose for us. You really captured the lighting and moment. I like how the hand is right in the center...it's a very solid composition.

Thin? He's skeletal!!! But you have turned that to your advantage with this fragile and beautiful rendering that makes me feel as though it could be part of a Pieta. Beautiful work, Beeb!
