Her shy personality is usually what caused others to misunderstand and exaggerate her “snobby and unfriendliness attitude”. Unless she recognizes them from class or work, she’s more likely to approach first. Her biggest enemy so far is herself, made up with the insecurities in her mind, her opponent likes to throw comment at her ruthlessly. To be tougher as everyday passes, to never expose her weak side or someone may take advantage of her popularity and image. Other than her hair, debatable, she keeps a tidy and orderly look making sure everything looks right. She keeps a schedule book for all the tasks and goals she has to complete from a day to her 20s.
Although she may be conflicted with opening all the way to her friends, she is loyal to them, cares for them and hopes them the best for whatever they choose to do. In her groups of friend, she’s probably the most mature and understanding among them, she does complain but probably the least in talking about her inner struggle.

   She was born as the youngest in her family and raised in Australia, Melbourne in the beginning of her life. Her parents are somewhat well-known, her father being an active storybook illustrator and a photographer with a huge following on social media, while her mother is part of an indie band, currently on hiatus prior the opening of her small thrift store in Tokyo. Her mother lived in Japan for her shop while the children stayed with their father in Australia. Inspired by her hardworking parents, Yua was ambitious from an early age and always tried her hardest to be the best. During those times, none of the siblings knew that the many photos taken by their father was going to give them a chance to make it big in the future.
   The success of her early career started with a commercial shoot. It involved only her brothers at first, but soon the employees let Yua join their shooting after they saw how natural she looked through the lens. The trio became popular not too long after, appearing in fashion brands with other famous models. Yua liked being in front of the camera, posing with her brothers and dressing up in cool clothes. Although not really liking the attention in public (especially when strangers on the street asked for a photograph out of the blue), she loved modelling with her siblings, and even the staff became close with them. Throughout the years, Yua grew and learned from the experiences she came across. Then a certain event happened, it was Yua's first time modelling without her brothers but she was confident by herself, nothing is going to happen. However the final products weren't satisfying to the photographer, and soon the photoshoot ended with them telling her, "Big name models like you are a waste of my time if you cannot even give me good results." Yua was later told it happens a lot with that certain person and so don't let this one event take her down. It was too late for her to rethink, this one incident made her learn the hard way of the modelling industry, she soon forced herself to grow up too quickly and never mess around during work if she ever wanted to be treated as a respected model.
   Before the start of Junior High, her mother had decided to give Yua a break from modelling so she could focus in her school life, and then return a year after. In the span of a month, she realized her body wasn’t what it was anymore. Her weight gain wasn’t unhealthy, because she was just going through hormone changes, nonetheless the negative self-image for her body in her mind began to grow. Nowadays she is much appreciative of her body with the support of others. She went back to modelling with depression which she wasn't fully aware of. It was struggle but her brothers looked out for her during her jobs, and she is fully appreciative for their help but instead, without knowledge her insecurities has grew another of herself which will become the reminder of not being strong enough. Thankfully, the depression seems to had dispersed after 6 months. She has a therapist who keeps in touch with her if she thinks it is starting to return.
   Her family decided to live together in Tokyo since it won’t be long until Joey graduates, and she has plans to go to college in Japan. Currently the whole family lives there, except for oldest brother who is living aboard and modelling.
