I've been meaning to post this guy for awhile, so when I stumbled across some comments by , and saw how kupo-crazy she was, I thought what the hey.So, for those of you unfamiliar with Final Fantasy (and those who are are quite familiar with this character), this is Mog the moogle from Final Fantasy VI.
Actually, when I first sat down to start making all these bloody sculptures of Final Fantasy, this one was the first to be made. Back then I was terrified of screwing them up by painting them myself, so I had a then-co-worker named Marie paint the first few, Mog included.

That's pretty cool! The only Final Fantasy Game I've played is Chocobo Tales for DS. XD I liked Mog. He's got a cute expression in this one.
I also played Final Fantasy Adventure II for Game Boy, but I later found out it wasn't originally a Final Fantasy game. That's unfortunate since it turned me away from Final Fantasy.

It was a mini-game compilation disguised as an adventure game. It also had card battles. Overall, it's not bad, but some of the mini-games are super friggin frustrating, and if you want good battle cards, you have to beat a certain score in these mini-games. Some of them are so hard it's cruel, and it's one of the few games recently that's thrown me into a rage. Despite my disliking of the game, I played through it three times. I'm not sure why, but it just ended up that way. If you're into mini-game adventures like Bomberman Land, get this one.

Wow...seriously impressive! Every aspect is flawless, from the scuplting quality, to the painting (and clear-coating), to the background that fits with the cave in which you get him to join your party.

Thanks! Looking back, I'm still pretty happy with how this one turned out, even though it was the first of all these FF ones. Wish I could take credit for the painting, but that early on, I was spooked by the prospect of it, so had a co-worker do it for me. Anyway, glad you like it!

I'll be honest with you, man. When I was little I collected Disney statues. Must have had nearly a hundred of them. And that piece there is on par with -any- of those statues (that my mom now has hidden away somewhere in hopes of grandkids).
If I had that little fellow in my collection, Maleficent would be moving over. And she's my all time favourite.
