Description
The antlers are fakes, cast off of real antlers and then painted. They are held to the skulls with screws and are easily removable for transport or storage.The brown fur is extremely short piled, and all of the seams are visible. I would have been better to sew it, rather than glue it, but I was eager to see the finished product.
I tried to make him look somewhat femme, since deer are very delicate looking, but still male. I think it worked well.

pretty sure if you saw a deer walking on two legs you wouldnt shoot it thinking it was a real deer. also, rednecks arent the only ones who hunt.

Very cool! The eyes are especially well-made. Though, I never understood how people see through those. I'm more of a cartoon person, so I nevr had to look up how to make or see through eyes like that...

do you use hinged jaws? or are they articulated jaws???

did you use a real deer skull for the base and used short pile faux fur glued on the skull? if so its disturbing wearing a dead animal skull not trying to dis but if its not a real deer skull then good job on the head. if its a real skull great job its disturbing using a real animal but try to use Styrofoam for the head.

I didn't use any real animal parts - so thanks for the compliment - but Styrofoam would be a bad material to use in any case.

He's definately male to look at but he holds a brilliant air of elegance about him for sure.
I have to say, I disagree with the majority, in that this is my preferred over your white tailed deer. Right down to the muzzle, facial structure, eyes and ears. The colour and quality of the fur is beautiful too.

This is beautiful! I think I like this even better than your female deer. And I also think it was a great improvment to make the muzzle stick out more; gave it a more "deer" look.

I wish i had a fursuit of my second life dragon or my werewolf character, i lve in the Uk and i can't find any suitable fursuit creators in the uk to make realistic and amazing suits like that stag head

My creations are unique and I live in Canada, so I'd guess not!
Why must it be a UK artist? You are really limiting your choices that way and most fursuit makers are happy to ship overseas.

hmmm i see i never knew they could ship overseas it's just do they accept cheques etc and can they switch the cheques pounds to dollars or do you need to use switch?, also i need to know how much pounds is needed to convert into the right amount of dollars, my maths is appauling you see XD lol

No, I quite like him. The only reason for longer fur is so there's a bit more graduation in fur length - but that's personal preference.

gorgeous work as always. i think i'm more partial to your other deer head, maybe because of the longer fur (and fuzzy ears!) but this is wonderful as well. great idea with the screw on antlers!

She is defiantly more toony and cute.
I did not want to copy her for this head but I wanted to keep some of her appeal while going more realistic.
I have to admit, in hindsight, I'd have rather done him in somewhat longer fur.
