Description
So I've been taking a digital painting class because I just felt like the whole planet knew tricks I didn't and I was right. I can do a lot more a lot faster. I did color this drawing in once before and submitted to David Bennett. But this... yeah. Still got a ways to go but I made that background using stuff from the class, as well as the masking techniques. Even the diamond laser gun... I did NOT render the diamond. I stole that bad boy right out of a sample photo and pasted it in.

The original drawing was inspired by Steamworld Heist so all the colors are sampled from a still of that game.
