i haven't been hiding just really busy Q_Q
I've tried out this technique before! I think this is the first time I've really been unafraid with it, though? Usually I'd want to keep it pretty neat and coherent, but this needed to be incoherent to keep the atmosphere, so I had more room to experiment. also I've been learning how to totally abuse the digital medium to darken the hell out of my shitty lineart and add depth to my colors. you would not believe how flat this looked with only my original color layer.
