There is something hilarious about building something up too much.

I imagine The BlueFire Dragon actually did do something legendary but no one actually remembers what they did and news gets around town that they’re coming and everyone starts gossiping like “they’re 100 meters long” “they can burn a village to the ground with one puff of flame” “They’re so beautiful that when you first see them you will cry tears of joy”
And then they’re finally here and everyone’s like “PHDKAJDIJFHSK” but it’s just this dude with like a pet carrier and he’s like “???” And they’re like “where that dragon is” and now he has to like unzip the carrier and like carefully scoop the thing out and he’s like “BEHOLD” and it’s just this awkward, sad looking, dinky old frog thing and there is no winner everyone is embarrassed.
And he’s actually legendary for like convincing leaders to not wage war which is amazing but not exactly the amazing that everyone expected but they’re actually really nice and cool and do origami
I forgot where I was going with this
