Might go to scraps later.Jasper is one of my favorite gems. Top 5 easily. With Peridot. So I was so happy to see her in the newest episode. And so sad to say goodbye to her again. And since I'm trying to kill my art block I decided what the hell. Cheeto wife deserves some love. I can't promise of finishing it properly, but I sure as hell would like to!
Poor traumatized Stockholm syndrome cheeto wife. I shall love you!

I've never seen anything that likeable in her. I just see her being mad and letting out her bad feelings to others. Especially the episode where she met Peridot. Pretty much that episode shows all the reasons why I don't really like her.
I don't hate Lapis, but...comparing to all others she is not that likeable to me.

Well to be fair, she was trapped in a fusion for months and constantly holding Jasper back and I can see why she'd be cold towards Peridot after that... Though she did take it a bit too far being bitter
My favorite Gem has got to be Rose Quartz VuV
But even more I just LOVE her relationship with Greg!

Yeah, but she was the one in control of the fusion most of the time. She could have ended it anytime. Like poofing Jasper would have been probably easier option. I understand her being traumatized from it, but so is probably Jasper since she was the one being hold against her will from the start.
And it's not like any of that was Peridots fault.

It's just every time I see Lapis I see her angry and bitter to everyone, even to Steven most of the time. And Lapis herself has done horrible things earlier, which she did have her reasons, yes, but every time I see her it just seems she likes to play victim.
Maybe I just don't connect with her enough to pity her like so many other people do.

Hmm well I see what you mean there! And hey, it's a show for a reason, it has a lot of different characters that are bound to have people like and dislike them somehow <3

I love how they didn't make her perfect either
She has trouble understanding humans and may seem like she has no common sense and doesn't take things seriously
But she does! :3

Rose had boyfriends before Greg, but she only seemed to love humans as a thing, not as a person. That is before she met Greg and actually loved him as who he was, not only for the fact that he was human which she had kink on...
Peridot it my favorite though for sure. She is kinda like Zim in germ form.
