Hinata is one of my top favorite characters not only in Naruto, but from all the anime series I've ever watched (which is quite a few)! xD lol

Hinata has grown up from being the shy, dark, weirdo as Naruto has once seen her as but now she has truely become a lady worthy of having Naruto's love. She has saved him in more ways than one and their bond has only grown stronger. Happy Birthday Hinata.

Today is the day. I failed to celebrate Naruto's birthday this year, but I have not forgotten her own birthday.
I can only hope that when the war is over, things will be better, and Tsunade will live to see the moment and day Naruto defeats Obito plus Madara, and brings lasting peace to the ninja world. Then and only then (plus finding out that the boy defeated Pain), she'd either give him a big spine-crushing hug, or another kiss on the forehead.
But when it is all over, Naruto has to make a choice. To be with Sakura, the one he loved from the beginning but she never loved him back? Or to be with Hinata, the one who truly loved Naruto and the one who is more than willing to give her life to protect him?
As you well know, all but one kunoichi loved Sasuke, but he never loved any of them back. Hinata can relate to Naruto a bit, they both have suffered indignity and humiliation, but they refused to give up, they wanted to be recognized, they wished for more, they Dared to Believe they can survive and hope to become great ninja. Hinata nearly gave her life for her beloved during the Invasion of Pain, but now Neji has given his life for his cousin and the one who bested him in the Chunin Exams. We know he had an epiphany/change of heart after his defeat that day, but as a member of the Branch House, he gave his life to protect his cousin from certain death, fulfilling his duty, he was a true hero to the bittersweet end. Now the hope of the Ninja Alliance lies on the shoulders of the 10 remaining members of the Hidden Leaf 11.
Things are looking grim and with Neji gone and Obito mocking him, Naruto may slip and Kurama will take control from the boy's anger. But I believe when the time is right, the Leaf 10 will prove their worth and potential as ninjas and Naruto's best friends.
Until that day comes, Till All Hidden Villages Are One.

For a character I didn't like at first, she has grown as a character, to someone who truly need to stand hand in hand with Naruto.

NaruSaku fans are already trying to explain it away. And though they do carry some very valid points on the non-romantic aspect of this chapter, I still say they need to be read ninjas and look underneath the underneath to see that this IS a romantic chapter as well as just plain encouragement for Naruto.
