Description
Anya meets a stranger while out carrying water. In the usual way, the stranger is puzzled by the fact that she is walking barefoot and comments on the amount of sharp rocks that she's walking on. The stranger suggests she could wear sandals or shoes to stop her feet from being damaged, and Anya gets flustered and doesn't want to admit she has nothing else to wear. Instead, she tells the stranger that she's used to walking barefoot and her feet are used to walking on all sorts of terrain. She explains it's something she enjoys as it makes her feel closer to nature and more in tune with the earth around her, but it's obvious that she's not being entirely open and honest with the stranger about her position.
