EDIT: Lots of new countries added!!!! 38 icons in total!!!! In 2 sizes!!!!!!!!!!
I learned how to make desktop icons tonight so I made some Hetalia ones for kicks. I'll probably never draw anything for this series, but it seems to be the hip thing nowadays and the little chibis lend themselves to icons
I didn't draw these by the way, I used official art by Hidekaz Himaruya. And no, not every nation is here because I couldn't find pictures of them all.To change your icon on a PC you have to right click on the icon you want to change and click "Properties" click "Customize" and click "Change Icon", then find where you saved these and pick one. I'm not sure now on a Mac...

Try right clicking on (the ZIPfile in your downloads,) it, and click "Extract File". Then click Ok, or Next, for all things, wait 2 seconds and BOOM. Hope this helped~

Hmm, I used to have a Macbook, and I think I might know how to set something as an icon.
Basically, you have to have it as a picture file, and you open it up, click+drag to select the picture, and copy/cut it. Then, you go to the item that you want the icon to be on, and you right click and click "Get Info". A little window should pop up, and in the top-left corner, there's a picture of the file/folder/program that you want to put the icon on. Click that, it should be highlighted, and use the command+v for paste.
I'm no good at explaining, lol.

Also, if that doesn't work... (this will work for all icons, again, this is from my opperating system, your might be a little different...) right click on the program who's icon you want to change, go to properties, go to general, and there should be something there that allows you to change the icon. Again, use browse to find the one you want, and there ya go, it should work.

I can only get these to work for the main computer icons, but (depending on your operating system thing...) go to the control panel, personalize, there might be something that says change desktop icons. In there, you might have to browse. This might work.

thank you very much for the advice ... but sadly my system is a bit different... when i do get to properties and change the icon... it changes the icon to the word JPEG... or PDF or what ever file it is...
