Description This beautiful gray fox has moved into my area and comes to my yard 2 or 3 times a day looking for scraps. She is so sweet, She now feels safe enough to bring her pups to the yard with her. However no pics of the pups yet they do not stand still long enough to get a shot. Maybe one day soon they will feel safe enough to get their pics taken.
Hope you all like it

It is just awesome to have her feel safe enough to come here and let me take pictures and she has even brought her babies with her a couple time but those little buggers are fast and I can't get a good shot of them and it is usually just at dusk so not much light to work with.

It might be a while before you can get a picture of the babies. If I remember correctly, Gray Foxes are a lot more timid than Red Foxes, so you'll just have to be patient. Once they get older and realize that you do not pose a threat to them, then you could get a picture of them. Or, of course, you can just have the camera ready when you watch the foxes, and instantly take a picture when you see the babies. That was how I was able to get a picture of a mouse while I was at camp(I have the picture on DeviantART, if you ever want to see it). Either way, you'll have to be patient. I know that you will eventually get a picture of them.

She only brings them out just after dark. So no chance of shots yet

You bet if I keep her around I should have more deer. I have learned that deer love to be around fox because fox are no threat to deer and keep other predators away so it is safer for the deer

Ok.. I am envious Beautiful animal. Just remember, she's wild. Don't get too close or feel too comfortable with her. Those teeth are sharp.

She stays at a safe distance for both of us but when I am in the house and I see her I can talk to her out the window and she wont run but the min I go out she runs of just a bit and watches me put food out for her and when I am back in the house then she will go eat and sometimes she will bring her pups I'm still trying to get a shot of them but no luck yet

It is so fun to watch them they never stand still and are very jumpy and only come out in late evening so the lighting is very poor. I have one window I can open with no screen so I can shoot out the window from a slight distance so I don't scar them but still no good shots yet

Keep shooting and I'm sure you will get them I had a fox cross the road here by my office in the middle of the day and traffic had to stop for it. (It's a city so I don't know what it was doing here) I would have loved to shoot it but I was at work without my camera unfortunately.
