I went for a drive just north of mom's house to a wetland area to see what critters I could find. I was at the wetlands for about 5 minutes and this is what I saw. There was a sign that said hunting/photo blind 4/10 mile down the trail. That was where I was heading when the girls came out of the wetland and onto the trail. Did you ever try to out stare a Whitetail? Or hold your breath so they cannot see the fog come out of your mouth? The outdoors is my Cathedral and I know what the Native Americans meant when they referred to the Great Spirit being in all things. You can feel it, NO?

I am going to try to. I really need to wait until bunting season is over. I really don't want to get shot at and this area is prone to that.

I could do with some of that luck when I go looking for them!
Mind you - a couple of years ago (on hol in Scotland)Nick stopped because of a call of nature and off he went into the bushes for a wee - I sat looking around at the country side and suddenly thought "hello! what the hell are those" - there were 7 stags laid on the hill side - all in velvet and looking magnificent - it made our day - I took photos but my efforts never come out very well - but I have the memory!! x

Oh I am going back in a few weeks if weather permits. As long as it isn't snowing.lol I only have a 4 inch clearance from the road with my little car.

lol There were hunters in front of me and a hunter behind me lol They could not shoot them because I was in the way lol Poor hunters
