I like this kind of face. Very realistic and artistic at the same time. The sketch is really aesthetic with great texture and brown colors.

The second page uses a bleeding technique, all the markers are used on the backside of the paper, and then the ink, pencil, and white colored pencil overlay the bleeds.
I've been experimenting with similar processes in larger formats, but i don't really have a method to upload any of it at the moment, but sometime in the future.

Interesting technique. I have yet to try it out, but I most certainly will make a point of doing so. Honestly, the effect is wonderful and highly effective. I look forward to seeing those larger pieces that you mentioned.
Just out of curiosity, what type of markers do you use for this said bleeding?

They're prismacolor markers, they can be pretty pricey but i somewhat inherited quite a few from a friend awhile go
