Now THIS looks like it's influenced by Velasquez.
It reminds me of his portrait of the Infanta Margarita Teresa.
In this portrait,though obviously a contemporary figure,it still retains that look of coy and aloof curiosity that Velasquez was able to capture in the child figure...
