Since image generating AI are open for everyone to use for a while now those images are flooding the internet. In my opinion AI for image generating is no problem per se since it enables people that are not that gifted or trained in creating images by themselves from scratch. The problem is that these AI are trained with a huge amount of work of artists that didn't gave permission in using their works for this purpose. Additionally creating images with AI is an easy task and therefor no art. Art begins when you put you skills and work into a piece and you start to create on your own. So using AI to produce images and THEN edit it, alter it, combine it with other work and so on is ok, because you put effort and dedication into it. But letting an AI create an image and call it art and your own work IS NO ART! And creating AI images to make money out of them is also wrong. Therefor AI produced images belong to a separate website or at least require a mandatory tag.
