This is my digital circlist portrait of Elvis Presley. I've always admired him. I wanted to make something unusual and give him the aspect of a solid and invincible robot... but not a real "terminator" because he was especially a romantic man with one of the most beautiful voices ever...
Please enlarge to see how it's done. Each circle is made of a single color and a single tone on a black background. The whole portrait took me several days of intense work. There is no trick, those circles aren't placed automatically, I've positioned each circle one by one (and I've left the yellow background unfinished on purpose). I'm now going to make a digital circlist portrait of Freddie Mercury...

Now, John connor did not want to see evil robot killer elvis "in the ghetto" and he used his time machine to call for a "return-to-sender" sneding the "devil in disuise" and its "wooden heart" back to "little egypt" as that happened, evil robot killer elvis realised that he "aint nothing but a hound dog"!
He vows to stop being evil robot killer Elvis and told himself "Dont be cruel"
John connor was "all shook up" by this. Then he decided to make his "way down" To help evil robot killer elvis.
Soon after evil robot killer elvis unlocked his "memories" and traveled to "vivalas vegas to find his "fame and fortune"

Hey Ben,
I've checked few of your portraits and have to say that it is one of the most interesting digital techniques I've seen in last few years. I like the way that it is done digitaly but "handmade". Just to say that u r using the word "unfinished" too often. I belive that each artist knows the best when the work is done and has everything what artist intended to put in it. It sounds to me like u were almost apologizing for it. You don't have to do that because to me it looks finished and complete and even that little bits are may be missing doesn't mean that it did not fullfil the purpose. I wish you good luck and I hope you are gonna explore the technique further because it is very effective. To look at your images was real pleasure. thx J.
