No, just no. This movie is not going to be well received. Sonic as a juvenile delinquent who has a cop for a friend? If you want to watch it, Ben, then I respect your opinion. But I won't be watching it seems to follow the same folly as almost every other video game-based movie: Not being faithful to the source material.

Um, Sonic For Hire, Sonic Bastardized, and The Wax's Sonic Shorts are not Sega-approved series. This movie is Sega approved, and with the idea of Sonic being a juvenile delinquent teaming with a cop, it seems Sega is allowing Paramount to do what they want with the movie (which could either help it or hurt it when it comes to critics and the ever rabid Sonic fan base).
