Just my own little tribute to the original ending of the 1986 Frank Oz film "Little Shop of Horrors". The original ending was cut from the final film, because test audiences hated it. It was essentially the "everyone dies, plants take over the world" ending of the broadway musical, only the movie included a really impressive (even by current standards, if you ask me) finale sequence of the plants rampaging through New York City.

If you've never seen it, I recommend checking it out on YouTube. Even if you don't want to see the scenes where Audrey and Seymore get eaten, I highly recommend checking out the Epilogue/Finale scenes: [link]

There is also an enhanced "reconstruction" version that someone on YouTube did (a few colorized scenes, sound effects added, and the studio CD version of the song added). It's especially nice that the the enhancement made some of the parts that were hard to see in the original video a bit clearer: [link]

Enough of my original ending geeking. As for the drawing itself, it was mostly for fun. I wrestled with whether to keep it in black and white/greyscale, or go full color with it. I tend to like to leave my ink drawings in black in white. I wanted to make Audrey II stand out from the Statue of Liberty. I'm kind of torn about whether the different shading styles for the statue and Audrey II worked out. In some ways I like it, and in some ways I hate it.

In any case, this was really just for fun and helped me get out of my recent art funk, at least for a bit.
