An art I made for Teresa of the Faint Smile; the most powerful Claymore warrior in the animanga by Norihiro Yagi: Claymore

The concept for this art takes the form of Teresa enacting her title; 'The Faint Smile', but in a completely different sense than what the manga implies. In the manga, 'Faint Smile' refers to Teresa as being capable of slaying the strongest of Yoma without even using a single bit of her own Yoma powers, which usually alters the user's image into a demonic look. Hence, she maintains her beautiful features even as she mutilates the strongest of opponents, with a ghost of a smile hinting her demeanor, thus her title as 'Teresa of the Faint Smile'.

But in this case, I took Teresa's title and drew her in a way it actually means; not a smile of her usual arrogance and smugness, nor the infamous smile that gained her the very title, but her rare smile that depicts her more serene, calm and content self, after being awakened to something new when she met Clare.

...Of course, since it's Teresa we're talking about, I still added a bit of her image of strength into that smile so that it didn't completely drown out her character ^^
