A comment in my previous Rarity piece ([link] ) wondered what the project she was working on might have turned into being when completed, so I decided to see myself. The result was pretty much this. I wanted to give this a certain 1920s/30s art deco sensibility of elegant finesse, which is something I think fits Rarity to a T. I've never tried my hand at fashion design, let alone pony fashion, but I hope it's at least passable.My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic & Rarity are Hasbros.

Simply wonderful. I love the dress, I imagine she would as well. The 20s/30s them really suits Rarity, as you say, to a T.

Great job on this! I think the style fits Rarity perfectly. To be honest, with the other image, I was trying to imagine a whole outfit with the material she was sewing and it just wasn't panning out, but now that I see this, it makes so much more sense. I think the pink leaves up by her ear really add to the outfit.

Yeah, I figured making the whole thing out of the same material wouldn't make the best fit in regards form, so a contrasting mid-section was a much better way to go about it. And the feathers in the hair was to further emphasise that 1920s elegant look of class without being too formal at the same time, so I think it all works pretty well together. Thanks for putting the idea in my head for trying this in the first place.

You're welcome. I've only seen a handful of episodes of MLP, but you got Rarity's style dead on from what I can tell. I'm glad you did this work. I enjoyed it.
