Description
This is Part 6 of my series of artwork called:The beautiful and ugly fishes of the North.
Gös (in Swedish)
Pike Perch, Gjørs, Stizostedion lucioperca
Drawed by myself as always from a photo using color markers, it is in size A3.
Predator fish that can reach around 130 cm and weigh 18 kg.
I have eaten it once in Brasov, Romania, neutral taste, it is better to catch and release it(as always).
The pike perch in my drawing is hunting at night, it glows in the dark in the reflection of the emeralds of the deep.

Actually I am having a good evening. The studio door is open because it's 20c, I'm painting, the Christmas lights are on, my Cruz Azul is playing Monterrey in the semi-finals, I've got 2 dogs by my side and a scotch and soda to quench the thirst.

Thanks. the sponsor of the team Cruz Azul is a manufacturer of cement, and the team is known as the Cementeros. They won last night and will face either the Pumas or Amêrica in the final, depending on the results of tonight. It is a beautiful name, right?
BTW, Cruz Azul in the state of Hidalgo is the birthplace of soccer in Mêxico. Miners immigrated from England to work in the silver mines of Hidalgo, but they spent all their money on alcohol and prostitutes. Mine owners decided to introduce soccer as a way of proviidng something for the young workers to do. The sport was a hit and expanded to the rest of the country. (We still have alcohol and prostitutes, however...)
I would dare to say that the level of play in Mêxico is about the same as in Uruguay.

Bernardo, antes de todo, amo tu ultima pintura. Si es un pez mas de tu serie, pero bastante diferente.
Me da gusto de saber que has visitado nuestra ciudad y si algún día decidas a regresar, ya tienes un amigo mas aquí para guiarte a las partes mas decadentes. 
Cruz Azul empato con America 0-0 anteayer y van a jugar mañana para ver quien va a llevar la copa. Anticipamos un partido reservado, ojala Cruz Azul gane 1-0.
