I could see the influence of oelze in your ouvres...I particularly adore his "Oracle" paintings...lovely and lush biomorphic vegetations...

Titian would be proud. I see a Bacchanal piece, or a a rennasiance style religous piece. But more bacchanal. I see marys, virgins, jesuses, a roman king. All I can say is wow.
And it reminds me of something. I will say this is just *me* because its totally subjective. but compositionally, I see Titian. And in terms of what I call a "clusterfuck" (an un-negative term in this context), it reminds me of this:

Quite a wierd colour scheme you went with Bernard, in some pleaces the colour does'nt seem to gel very well but in other places it doe's, i almost feel like you were trying something different with colour in this one, anyway it's great nonetheless.
