Hey,

this is a uhmm... about 3 years old picture of my Excellent Scene Cosplay of Zoro. It was really amazing for me to sew this one, because there were so many little details and I love to work with pearls and buttons and small stuff (<- faggot) and thats why I really loved to make this cosplay. Since I almost never do this, I want to tell a little story about the making of of the cosplay (and its quite funny to be honest ^^). 3 years ago, there were almost no pictures of the excellent scene outfits in the internet. We had small pics (prob. around 600-900px high) and since they were full-body-pictures most of the time, u couldnt see the details at all. so our whole group was sitting in front of the small pics and we were discussing, what the details could look like and what they were supposed to be. We wore the cosplays in april, I wanted to start early and was finished with the sewing part in... I guess it was february. Only the details were missing. At this time, I could tell that the golden parts could be buttons, but I couldnt exactly tell how they looked like. In march, I went on a con and looked trough some stuff in the buying section. I saw a One Piece artbook, and decided to take a look, and finally saw the outfits in a bigger and clearer version. The bad thing was... i didnt have money with me xD i dont like bags on cons, so i usually put the important things either in my shoes or in my underwear (lol) so I wont have to put it away each time when someone wants to take a photo. Of course, this time there wasnt money in my underwear (dammit) but I had to get this artbook, since there were so many details we havent seen before. I couldnt help myself, so I stripped a little bit, put my hands right into my underwear to get out my.... HANDY (you perverts, I know what you thought >D) and made some illegal pictures of the outfits xDD of course they guy noticed my actions and banished me from his store, but I got at least one detailed pic of the button things and put my handy pleased back in my pants ;D So I worked on all the details, felt like a king (altough it took me weeks to craft all of the little stuff) and the weekend before the con our group met to do the last things of our cosplays together. I told them about my funny underwear-story, when finally our franky said, she had bought the artbook Ö_Ö suddenly all of us were grouped around the table, and we were slapped right into the face @_@ altough we were working really hard, we misinterpreted some of the details and saw the truth right before us. So... after we cried for like ... 3 disney films () we decided to start the overnight shifts and took care of the missing details xD

So... this was a little story of the life of a common cosplayer, but if you ask me, those stories are indeed the best about the whole hobby so, if you have time, let me hear your little stories <3
