Chapter 10 of The Game of Sins.
I recently found the novel I wrote for nanowrimo four years ago. Rereading it made me realise how much I actually loved the story.
So...I felt an urge to try and draw it. I decided to draw one of my favorite games of the novel, which is chapter ten.
This is only the beginning of the game of course. If I can I want to draw the rest of it but it'll take a lot of time and motivation.
I originally wanted to finish this several days ago, but then 'school' happened.
I had quite a lot of trouble drawing everyone because I just went ahead with it and didn't do any proper character designs. So sorry if they look weird throughout the pages.
I had the most trouble with the black haired angst guy and Julian. I enjoyed drawing Julian so much. He is one of my favourite characters in the novel.
Oh and don't worry, this is not a romance story at all.

I've always had a lot of trouble with toning so I tried using less this time. I think it worked out better. I actually tried to ink all this in one go which resulted in a terribly sore hand. You can kind of see the very shaky lines to the end because my hand just wouldn't stop shaking. I am not doing that again.

The story:
Caela woke up in the middle of nowhere with no memories. She then found herself in an orphanage and going to school like any other child her age. However she soon realises her intellect is way beyond those around her. The gap in her memory also starts to drive her insane.
That's when she received an email form 'The Game of Sins'. If she won the game, any wish of her's can be granted including getting her memory back. With nothing to lose Caela decides to join, only to realise there is so much more to the game than what she thought...

Honestly, Caela is a very naive girl despite having high IQ. Anyone in that room is obviously suspicious if they've gotten so far in the game.
She shouldn't be surprised that Julian is a psychopathic pedo (?).
I keep cringing while drawing the part with the three girls. When being indecisive can be fatal. (I hate it when people are indecisive).
