The color combination is very interesting and I simply LOVE it. Somehow the colors remind me of the 60's... you know? the go-go's era and such... with that said, I think I would prefer a pair of tall white boots over these platform shoes for the same shot.

Oooh, that would be great, you're right! Tall white boots, that would be soooo cool. Except, they're like, $150 a pair & up. lol--not in agreement w/ my bank account.

Great use of vibrant colors! Definitely a cute fashion photo. Did you use wrapping paper as a backdrop? I would have the model take a few steps away from the wall because the light reflection where the backdrop bends snaps us back into reality

Also - those are the funkiest shoes ever.

Yes yes, wrapping paper. I know about having her next to the bend...but if she came forward any, I couldn't get the shot, because the wrapping paper ended. lol...and yes, I call those my "stipper heels." I FALL anytime I put them on...even just to stand in them, I end up on the floor. lol

I like to colours and the overal composition, but I think Ashley's pose is somewhat awkward - have you tried standing like that? Having been in a performing dance group for over five years, (when I lived in Oakland, CA) I notice posture and things like that. Naturally, art does not need to reflect reality as it really is, it only needs to reflect the way we as humans THINK it is.

In any case, it looks great.

Hmm...you know, I don't see it as awkward. I usually pick up on that, too... For this pose, I see it as "shy." Can you see it like that??? Oh, I definately don't work for reality on these--but I do try to keep the model from looking awkward/uncomfortable.

I can definitly see that pose as "shy" or "innocent."

I tend to over-analyzing things sometimes.
You know, the multiple personality thing; in my case it's the "Dr. Fractalstein, Mr. Jay Pegg" thing.

Mmm yum I am wearing black stockings and pink fishnets right now Surprisingly, this doesn't hurt my eyes, the colours are just pretty enough, and the skirt isn't too verdant

the colors are fantastic, very pop artish, has a vintage-ness to it. It all just goes togther so well it has a nice quality to it.
