Thank you very much for creating these tutorials! I've learned some new things already.
However, I do have a question about the way you calculate the size of the table top. I understand that you can use the width of the pie as the side of a square. But how do you figure out the depth? You say you use a grid? What grid?

I think there is a way to construct a 1 point perspective perfect cube without a grid, but I can't find my class notes about it and I can't quite remember how to do it, so I'm afraid the grid is all I can offer at the moment. :/
There's also the option of downloading a pre-made grid from online, but personally I learned a lot when I practice constructing grids on my own.
