I always wondered... about Marik's thoughts after returning to Egypt~After all that had happened, would he truely be able to forgive and leave behind the events of Battle City?
Although events caused were indeed, his cause, it is understandable given the circumstances~
However, again, I don;t pretend to understand Marik. But I wonder f he would end up blaming himself for things that other people no longer or simply do not, blame him for...~
Gawd, I wish I had more understanding... ^_^'

I always wondered how he would feel after Battle City... He did get taller though xD Taller than Ishizu o3o Well, he must've had some heavy counseling from Ishizu and Odion if he could face Yugi all friendly like. You misspelled "truly"

Well I dont know how much time passed between the end of battle city and the time that yugi and friends arrived in Egypt~ I'm guessing at least a couple of years, as like you said, he grew taller than Ishizu and his arms filled out. He needed enough time to do that, so I guessed him to be about 18 or 19 by season 5. :/ Just a guess tho.
^^ And I'm sure Ishizu and Odion would have helped him with whatever he needed~

Well... considering in that time BetterThanCrumpetsKaibaLand was built then I'm guessing since it took 4 years after Battle City to build they should've taken some time to get there so I think you're right :3

Wow emotional piece. I've always thought that he would feel all the blame due to his character as he hasn't really had much social interaction so it would feel natural for him to want to stay with the friends he made (Yugi, Joey.. etc). so thinking that he caused them harm would almost make him hate himself in a way. One thing he has got to remember in all this is that the past is past and you have to move on, and also that he will always have his friends and family to support him and help him when he feels low.

Yes its true, he didn;t get much social interaction apart from his family as a child so that would have probably had an affect~ And yes, he may well be feeling guilt at the thought of harm to his friends~ But what you said is quite true as well!

Yes, I see what you mean. After he was freed from the influence of Melvin, he turned back to his nice self. But yes, I also wondered what he'd be feeling inside, despite everyone's forgiving of him~
