Description It's been a good 6 or so months since I last posted any art. To be truthful I have found it hard to find the time to create art these days. I still am building on my portfolio of whimsical Australiana-dreamscape works, however, and drafting ideas when I can. This is the latest piece - 'October'. It aims to capture the essence of the dry, summer outback, wild storms and the beauty of the violent and harsh nature of this land. Wildflowers and spinifex grass line the roughly cut hills and landscape, red earth lies bare to the sun, and the saltiness of the surface of the land glints like snow in the sun. This is the epitome of the Dustwalkers' origin.

Your work is outstanding! Love the colours! And yes, it captures the essence of the outback...reminds me very much of the Flinders Ranges (though I didn't see any storms while I was there I can imagine they would be epic! )

This is beautiful. I'm amazed by the depth of this painting. Before reading the description I was sure this was made with traditional media! The landscape is goergeous and feels so... vast? I love the little creature there too.

I started off painting with acrylics in high school, and upgraded to a tablet for graphic design at uni, so about a year and a half now working with a tablet. I'm not a professional illustrator or anything of the sort though! I don't think I could move back to traditional materials now though - not enough room or time.

The piece has a sad feeling to me somehow, but the beauty of the wildflowers and landscape more than make up for it. Great work.
