Description I've been working on this artwork for way too long...so here it is! I've really only had time for digital art lately, but I have been considering turning this one into a painting. Hope you like it.

"Starblossoms"
In the Forest of Night, the star children collect and plant the flowers of the Starblossom trees - the origins of constellations. From above, the forest glimmers and twinkles like the starry sky, looking like a patch of nebulosity against the dark landscape. When the trees bloom, the star children pick the flowers and plant them in the sky.

I like your use of custom brushes here . Especially on the ground to suggest the accumulation of leaves, and here and there for the grass and the tree. The glimmers look like snows to me, like the first snow of Winter actually, which is very beautiful. I am a bit confused for the area surrounding the glowing flower. I think it looks like a door, but I am not sure. Other than that, great piece with profound concept.

Also, if I squint, I can see the nebular!

Thank you, friend! I must admit, I've become really fond of making custom brushes. It's something I can't do in real life painting, haha! Glad you like the flowers - they're meant to resemble star points but I see how they look like snow! It never snows where I live so I can only imagine how pretty it must be. You are right - it is a door! I had more wooden detailing on it but I softened it so that it is less noticeable - the detailing just didn't look right. Perhaps I will come up with something better soon!

You are welcome, friend . I still prefer to use my good old round brush, but will definitely try custom brushes soon. Can't wait to see what you will come up next .
