Ah, he has a human face and a small mouth, so I didn't think he'd be a carnivore or omnivore. I guess I'd make a better guess if I saw his pointy teeth haha.

Humans have to eat their meat pre-proccessed, cooked, and cut into bite size pieces; a way even an herbavore can eat it. Omnivores can eat raw meat, and have huge mouths with hide-piercing and bone crunching teeth. Dogs and bears are omnivores.
And a bigger animal doesn't neccecarily need a high-protien diet. Look at elephants, gorillas, and horses!
Actually, this big guy reminded me of some kind of feathered gorilla, which was a big part of my guess for his diet. He's sutch a unique creature, I didn't know what exactly to compare him to.
