Here is India and I at the WCS cosplay parade in Nagoya. It was pouring out, which is why everyone has umbrellas but us.

This caused some costume panic. I'm white as a sheet in real life, and way too pasty for Ulala. So I just dusted myself all over in bronzer before the parade. But as soon as we went out in the deluge, it all started running off. Everything that touched me took makeup with it. India's white gloves turned copper and were ruined by repeated bumpings of me. I was terrified I'd run into a cosplayer in a white outfit and ruin it.

Then they led us indoors and I let out a sigh of relief that I hadn't damaged any costumes. The doors to the hotel opened to reveal fifteen beautiful Japanese women in excruciatingly expensive-looking white kimono. I totally panicked until Team Manager Anna came running over with a towel. We rubbed off all the bronzer and managed to get away without ruining anyone's clothes. Phew!
