It is kinda cute and fuzzy, but still raises hairs on my arms... I think I have mild arachnaphobia... them green spiders that look like snot really creep me out. This one doesn't so much, cause it has pretty colors.

This is the first large spider that I've seen that hasn't repulsed me. I think seeing my girlfriend's arachnaphobia has made me less so. Still, if he crept up behind me I'd freak right the fuck out. That being said, I have no idea where you guys get off saying spiders are sexy. I know my girlfriend thinks snakes are sexy, but that's a no brainer. Is there something about spiders that is phallic?

Well, on females the osthosoma (big round part) is usually a bit bigger, and on males the legs are usually a bit longer and skinnier, but that's not a very reliable way to tell, especially if you don't have anything to compare it to.
