I personally would've cropped off the bottom bit of wasted space and maybe kept more of the lighter top (more detailed) part.

They are incredible. I’m studying architecture and utilise Fibonacci sequences in symmetry and asymmetry ratios to help me control or resolve form and proportion.

I’m constantly perplexed by math and nature alike. I’m actually terrible at math which does not bode well for my building design, but will hopefully find a great engineer.

I'm a biology student. My course it's based on molecular and micro molecular biology that is we're studing everything realated to nucleid acids (DNA,RNA) and proteins like lots of molecules and how they react between them. Well at least this could be a very short explanation of it...

Ouch complex stuff, I was always fascinated by biology, especially gene manipulation; but didn’t apply myself in science and eventually chose architecture. I guess your one of the cusp dwellers then, perhaps finding cures to some of the horrific diseases that plague our planet. I wish you success and happiness. And keep the photos coming.

Wow - what a textured plant here. I like how you focus on the center and the number of green shades although i find the light on the outer leaves a little less contrasty than i'd personally favour this is one awesome shot!

Absolutely amazing shot! The concept is great, as are the colors and, well... I can't add all that much to what everyone else said. Even though it's a small touch, I definitely love the fact that the plant had the... hairs on the sides of the leaves. Adds a lot, in my opinion!

BESIDES the actual photographic quality [i like the colors and placement, the composition], i really like the concept. i love how math and nature can blend together so beautifully. makes me want to write poetry about math

i like the part about not being an artist. i'd say you are an "artist," but it's also my oponion that anybody who has a flair for doing the things they do, someone who does the things they do with passion, is an "artist." it bugs me when people think you have to be a painter or something to be an artist.

HAHA yes. Sometimes I dont like math, when its difficult. But, I love the way math repeats itself through nature, which makes it easier to learn. Also, it makes you feel like everything has a purpose.
Im into puzzly things, I like Dan Browns works a lot with the Da Vinci Code and such. Stuff thats fiction, but sounds really smart.

Talking about Dan Browns: I read "Angels and Demons" but it was the english version so since I'm Italian and there were too many difficult terms and expressions I didn't understand everything he said, but a great part of it. Anyway I relly enjoyed it. Then I saw "The DaVinci Code" at the cinema and found it really amazing though everything happens so fast. Two hours weren't definetely enough to explains everything the book says.
You must be very intelligent to write a book like that so I don't care if some of his theories now are proved wrong. It's breathless how he put up all fact toghether.

Im taking chem in place of biology. Again with the mystery; the not knowing what happens when you put one thing with the other, and then knowing theres a reason for it to take place. Wow I cant even imagine reading something of his if you speak differently! Good job lol! Espcially since he really is so so smart. And I agree about his theories! The books were very controversial to Christians. I am a Christian and I LOVED his writings. Also, his books are FICTION... I mean come on, hes a novelist! What did people expect, and autobiography?!
Speaking of, yes I do like writing, and I am starting my own novel. Its a fantasy thing, but I'm really excited since its actullly turning out super super good. Since I love to read and write, my style is advanced, and my mother actully LOVES it. And she loves things like Terry Brooks!
We do have a lot in common! And its nice to know theres another girl who is into the same stuff as me!!

More Tolkien! AHHH it's going to have all of the above. It has elves. They are the main characters. Yes, there was a brief fairy appearnce. But not Tinker Bell fairies lol. Theres many many different types of dragons, and these things called Ghaunts I created. I'm using inspiration from Chris Paolini (Eragon), The Abhorsen Triology by Garth Nix... and even a little Abarat by Clive Barker. But mostly Tolkien, I modeled my elves after the ones from hes books, mostly the Silmarillon.
If you ever want to read any of it I can email it to you or whatever, whenever. I need critique. As long as you promise not to show anyone else lol!!!! But thats only if you ever wanted to.
