Description Well this came out fairly well even though there are a few ink mistakes but I can clear those up with Photoshop. I enjoyed season 1 of Avatar Korra. Even though the show lacked the charm of Aang's early adventure. I will reserve judgement until I see what the shows producers have in store for Avatar Korra in season 2.

Great job, I like the unique, mature look you gave her it makes this art piece feel more original. The only problem is that you can't really see any detail on her abdomen and her biceps are a little too big but overall it's very good.

Thank you. I didn't go over board in terms of adding any rendering to the drawing overall. I'm gonna have this colored So I wanted to have the colorist have freedom to do what they do best.Which is to render with color. And a few people feel that my abs on women need work. So I just kept things simple.

Her arm and Bicep does appear to be too large. But often times when observing women and people in general when they flex that area of the arm always looks bigger or as as big when in direct proportion with the head. When it comes to these things it comes down to whether it looks good or realism. Either way you won't please everyone who views its.

I don't focus entirely on realism, however I feel about my art everyone else feels the same way and I spend as much time as I can making absolutely sure nothing about the picture bothers me.

What I've learned as far as drawing and doing art in general is that your not gonna do anything perfect.I look at a drawing or a piece as a whole and I don't focus on a single part.If the illustration works as a whole then its fine. If you continue to dwell over what bothers you about a picture you won't get any work done.

People in general tend to see what they want to see. So not everyone is going to feel the same way. Most art is based on reality to some extent. So some form of realism must be applied to your work in order for the viewer to judge or critique it subjectively.

Usually when something bothers me is when I screw up with the figure work as a whole. And usually I try to catch it in the early process of sketching. If I'm half way through a drawing and notice the whole drawing is off I usually just erase all of it and start all over. Or I just throw it away.

I did the same thing but I was never good at traditional art (except for one picture).

Awesome work on Korra here, my friend! However, I must admit that the face perhaps could use some work, she looks a little bit older here than she is depicted in the show. I think it may have something to do with how narrow her eyes are, she probably should have larger and more rounded appearing eyes to appear more youthful and her lips might need some work as well. I can say that I am quite impressed with her musculature in particular considering that she is an athletic appearing character and conveys this physical strength that she has. So major props to capturing that.

Thanks ^_^.I wanted my version of Korra to appear more ethnic. Considering that the water tribe are pretty much Eskimos. Which is why I gave her wider and more defined lips. The same reason applies why I drew her eyes that way as well. She does appear to look older than how she looks on he show. But that's because I drew her the way I would draw the character if I was in charge of drawing her character design.

Korra does have an athletic build which I like about the character in general. So I made sure to emphasize that trait when I started sketching.
