Description
This is a piece I submitted to Lucas Film's Star Wars: Clone Wars competition a few months ago. This baby put me behind my sleep schedule about a full day and made me a $1000! Thank you Star Wars!Depicted here is the very PO'd Asajj Ventress, a character in the clone wars series who pretty much pwns all who stand in the way of her lightsabers.

This is a beautiful piece of work - great pose, very emotive, wonderfully atmospheric lighting and background.
But I have to say the character proportions are all wrong for Ventress, and this detracts from the piece for me. If I didn't know the character I would call it great. But Asajj is the poster-girl for ectomorphs. You have made her much stockier, her facial proportions are much more normal in your piece and her breasts seem to have quintupled in size. It's a great picture of a generic Sith, but I would not recognize Asajj Ventress from this picture. Sorry - even done in a more realistic style like yours, I feel she should still have that skeletal, bog-witch look in some way.

This was made something like 5 years ago while I was in college. Β From what I remember, I just wanted to make my own version of her. Β
And while this image is not accurate to all the character/traits of asajj, I did have a lot of fun making this one (:

Another great piece of art. Good depiction of a Jedi, but think I would have covered her up more. That's a bit uncharactereistic of the order. Still, excellent redition. Thanks.

Wow! Mad impressive lighting and I just love the glow on the ground; it looks like she's itching to swing her lightsabers forward and makes me want to do the same. Fantastic!
