Description Hey there

Yet another SW:TOR art commission ^^ This time its a miraluka healer, called Zek-anlai.
I thought I'll put in a bit twist with the already known force powers and stuff, and together with the commissioner (gamer girls rules, hope you guys know it ) we figured out a force power, that the miraluka can excel at: Lifeweb (or Web of Life).

Simply put: by concentrating, they can draw a web on the floor, originating from them to each and every living creature in a sensible radius (a few kilometers perhaps... ?) that are touching the ground. By "grabbing" a thread, they can quickly find that particular living creature and help it out (they feel how is their condition whith this link).
Ofc it has limitations, like, it cant detect force masked things or anything thats behind a disruption field (cloak field, city shield, forcefield, ect...).

Basically thats it Enjoy ^^
Comment @ critique is always welcome .)

Thanks a lot glad you like it ^^
I love to work with great ideas, in this case, we figured with my client that we give the Miraluka a "twist" on how they see the force
The base idea was that they tap into it and its like an intricate web that connects everything and they can chose which part they want to see connected to (like... animals, certain species, plants, places, etc.), othervise it would be rather overwhelming
Would be a really cool idea actually To have this ^^ Ofc, it only works inside a certain distance, or it would be OP And other force users can block their presence sooooo ^^ It has its limits
That gave the main idea for this pic ^^

Ok, I stop rambling, I just loved to work with this

LOL xD Agree :3
If they were to get a blind stick too, now that would look hilarious if they waltz out to heal

Too bad most of the veils look total crap tho T_T
Luckily, I've had luck with this one, since the owner let me figure out a veil :3 And she wanted a custom made

tsshh I KNOW RIGAHT.

Oh yeah >_> the viels DO look dorky xD

*sigh* then you should go designing viels for bioware xD

Actually, I bet there are a lot capable artist in Bioware (they made an excellent work with Mass Effect + Dragon age looks vise ^^), but most likely they got a crappy art chief or director this time, who has little to no sense on clothing and armor -_-"

Just look at some of the hedious helmets and armor pieces on the classes Every class have at least one crap looking armor set. Sad is, its endgame armor set most of the time
So yea... even if the artist is great, if the lead is crap its going down the sewers x) Since they decide what stays and what goes in the game

Aaaahhhh..

well. now. >_> Can't say I'm surprised given the decisions with Mass Effect 3's ending and all xD

Oh, like jedi knights must ALWAYS have they're hoods up..?
...
OH FOR PITY'S SAKE

If CONSULERS can have their hood down, WHY CAN'T THE JEDI?
Auris has a nice aeon flux hair cut D:

Booooooo ah well. >_<

but I do like the sent black hole armor 8D

Tanathiel In reply to SynneWarrior [2013-02-08 21:34:07 +0000 UTC]

Hm, there was a quite long discussion on the forums about letting the players toggle hood on or down
As well as appearance item tab, which would be super cool!
I loved it in Warhammer Online ^^ I doubt it would be THAT hard to implement... -_-" Its a freaking simple tab. Dont think it would be hard to program also

But yea, most of the time the lead is a manager who is after only the cash and has the enthusiasm of a light bulb for gaming in general

ooohh..
....
...
LKASJLJADLFJSADL JAZDJFALXKDJVASJC KLFJC KS K YYYYYEEEEESSS

THAT. IS. SORELY. NEEDED. ;____;

I know! WHAT THE FFUUUUF if they can implement a HIDE HELMET SLOT then why the FLUFF NOT A TOGGLE HOOD DOWN?!?!

: | someone needs to shoot the greedy ass bastards.
I WOULD LOOVVEE to be a creative director for bioware xD

make them have a happy ending FOR BLIGHTED ONCE.
Cus seriously, to go on a tangent...

Only... like... 2-3 games have had a happy ending
And that would be KotOR 1, Swtor, and Neverwinter Nights 1? (don't remember the ending to that one xD)
(I haven't played jade empire or kotor 2 yet heh)

But for the rest.

Mass Effect 1: (had a decent ending but I don't count this game, because it's like the first book of the trilogy, it kinda has to end on a neutral note)

Mass Effect 2: Choose wrong, don't play baby sitter, you have a chance that you get shot in the back of the head, or you miss the plane hop. Thus you die right there. (oh on a tangent tangent, I do LOVE playing babysister to the characters.. just if the others didn't and wanted to go the "professional route" and got shot in the back.. well then. >:T) But if you play baby sister, then all is lade fine >_<

Mass Effect 3: Shepard dies. As I hear (I have yet to play this game xDDD) that all those whats it called war assests dont count for shiiiii :I and they force shepard to die.
Well, now.

Dragon Age: Origins: If you didn't recruit morrigan, or if you did too much GOOD and she leaves, or if you didn't even do the dark ritual, then you would die. ... ... :I seriously.. what the fffluuffff??

Dragon Age 2: ...Stupid Anders. Leaves in a cliffhanger :I
And I DOUBT they'll even mention or try to finish Hawke's Story in DA3. >:T

Neverwinter Nights 2: Ok. this. I- what? They're was no mention of the King of Shadow's Lair being unstable AT ALL. In fact, there was NO REASON FOR IT TO BE. It was a ruin, that lasted the test of time. Yet, as soon as the king of shadows is slain, YOU DIE. THE WHOLE COMPLEX COLLAPSES ON YOU AND YOU DIE. THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THAT.

So, in that sense. WHAT THE FUCK BIOWARE WHAT THE FUCK.

Its... well... that kind of sense where I'm kind of being turned off by bioware games now... They.. essentially don't have have endings. In a game, I go to that world to escape and have mai happeh ending D:
Because here in life, ITS HARD TO EVER GET ANY. So, if I wanted a bad ending, I would turn on the news or go outside. :I

LOL xD
God, I know what you mean

ME1 -- Uhm... whatever ? oO
ME2 -- Wrong descisions -> you end up killing your whole team, permanently x) Oh and even if you manage to save all, the whole bloody game finishes with an upcoming apocalypse on the horizon xD Sheesh... x)Shep dies at the beginning of ME2 Can die at the end xD
ME3 -- Yea, Shep just barely manages to kick things together, but will die in the end no matter what you chose (out of the 4x possible outcome). What pissed me off is that some really cool characters die either way, whatever you do -_-" + the story is got pretty much focked up ending No wonder the rage about it on the interwebz x)

Dragon Age -- Ugh... -_-" Seen happier endings for sure Got bored half-way. I know the story only by watching my little bro playing it x)
DA2 -- havent played X)
Neverwinter Nights -- Well... and OK ending If you consider you go to the deepest pits of hell to kill a demon lord xD At least you can get a dark elf lover (if guy) or a half-demon (if girl) XD
Neverwinter 2 -- havent played

If you want to see a lot grimdark ending, just hit up a Warhammer/Warhammer 40k book or game xD You have it
And agree, people usually play games like this to enjoy a possible life that they cant have IRL

Well done. I like the contrast of the soft edges of the cloth and the sharp edges of the armor and power web. It gives it depth.

I try to... update my style a bit, since I found it a bit over the top when it come to details and showing what I feel should be in the focus Not to mention saturated colors
I think this is a nice attempt One step closer ^^

Beast-King [2012-11-28 16:37:48 +0000 UTC]

Nice picture and a cool power.
However the power is potentially very dangerous in a Sith's hands. Imagine a Sith able to sense and 'reach' out to every living being withing a few kilometers. Massive drain of life commencing.
Yeah, a pretty cool power, both for a Jedi and a Sith^^

Tanathiel In reply to Beast-King [2012-11-28 16:53:24 +0000 UTC]

Hehhe indeed ^^
Everything is a double edged sword as they say Same applies here Both dark and light side can benefit from said power, but since the approach is different, they would use it totally opposite-like xD Like what you mentioned

Sith assassins on a brand new level anybody ? Tracking down targets would be nice with this :3
