BH Coquelicot have daily cares to fix his poor legs and feet.
Today, we applied some clay on his forlegs for a few hours.
The clay is an anti-inflammatory, relaxing and calming therapy that coquelicot needs to soothe his pain after his daily walk of 20 minutes, needed to keep him active and to remuscle him.
He is walked up to 5 to 7 times a day for 10 minutes to reinforce his legs and feet and one time for 20 minutes, when the weather is pleasant.
Amber Mirage was there to receive some cares after a minor injury, but we decided to keep her next to the great stallion because of their obvious friendship. Coquelicot is slowly finding back is joy for life with her by his sides. Do you see how much he gained weight and how his whole body and face seems to come back to life? his feet are almost fixed and he will soon be able to go outside in a little paddock to keep him moving all day long. He will still receive daily cares for 1 or 2 years, but he definitely is on the road to recovery!
