I don't see why it was such a big shock. I think it's called situational irony-- some big secret you as the reader/veiwer can figure out but all the characters in the story are too stupid to put together. 8DAnd any place you see something totally random (EX: the wiggly arm) is where I made some mistake like leaving too much white space and tried to correct it.
